Get Involved with Knit Michigan

Individuals are the foundation of Knit Michigan.  People like yourself put their love, time, and resources into knitting, crocheting, and sewing comfort items.  The items are sent or deliver to Knit Michigan HQ in Shelby Township, MI. 

Volunteers place the items into individual bags and include a care and content tag.  The volunteers gather at our new processing space generously provide by ChiaoGoo in the Westing Bridge building in Troy, MI.  The comfort items are then shipped to the Centers throughout Michigan.

If you would like to support the mission, another easy way is to become a monthly donor!  Your monthly support will help Knit Michigan purchase polyfil for stuffing the pillows, fleece for pillows and blankets, new blades for the rotary cutters, and pay the shipping costs.  Please click on the DONATE button below for more information.

Kroger Community Rewards

If you have a Kroger Plus Reward Card, you can now designate Knit Michigan to receive a percentage of your purchases.

To Use the Kroger Community Rewards Program:

  • Simply visit http://www.kroger.com
  • Log into your Kroger account
  • Search for Knit Michigan, Inc either by name or our program ID: IV663
  • Click Enroll

New users will need to create an account that requires some basic information, a valid email address, and a rewards card.
